Ask Not What Your Fellow Teen Can Do For You...

You can help other teens in trouble by choosing the red StartPoint Card! It is estimated there are approximately 10,000 homeless youth in Chicago each night. Teen Living Programs has outreach teams that walk or ride through Chicago neighborhoods looking to make contact and help homeless teens. They also offer a day shelter where homeless teens can get a shower, a meal, and a place to rest.

Their Emergency Shelter and Transitional Living programs offer long-term solutions to getting teens out of trouble and teaching them the skills to stabilize and improve their lives. While there are several programs designed to help the homeless, there are few that are targeted at addressing the special needs of homeless teens. By choosing the red StartPoint Card MCU will make a donation to the Teen Living Programs.
